As a photography enthusiast, I’ve found shooting watches to be a great way to keep me active in my hobby even when inspiration is not present to go out and “hit the streets”.
I’ve posted three of my favorite watch photos I’ve taken over the years. What are some of yours?
PS. This is not a competition/comparison and all skill levels are welcome to post.

Not the best shot & taken with a cellphone but it was the most fun.
The mirror work in your SPB shot is amazing!!
I go in waves for creativity but I’ve been trying to transition to less formal flat lays with diffusers and having fun with natural light and my prime lens.
My watch photos are garbage but it's something I want to get better at for sure. One more thing for me to obsess over 😄. I haven't been on WC for long. Is there good content here to help out with my watch photography?

I’ve not gone looking for tutorials and such but this post is tagged with #photography which might be a good place to start.

I love this shot - perfect for the watch. So much fun.

These are really great! I love the Sinn shot especially - the way the red hand lines up with the sleeve. Nicely done.
Seiko SPB147. Still hot from the Texas sun one afternoon.

Excellent day-lume shot!!
Just some iPhone shots- it’s kind of amazing how great of photos you can take with almost no effort.

Thank you!

My favorite of the bunch is the Seiko Dolce shot! Great pics!

Doubtful :)

Dope! I love a good shoe/watch pairing.
Oooohhh. I actually really like this. Well done!
Nice job capturing those raised numerals and the chamfered edges! Beautiful piece.
Not sure if these are my favorites but I do like these a lot.
That Sinn... incredible. I love all of these shots! Thanks for sharing.
Really nice shots. Are you a pilot by trade? Also, the DresSKX is such an incredibly flexible watch. I've considered picking another one up as I sold mine a couple years back and kind of miss it.
Thanks Aaron,
yes, I am. (picture above was actually taken in a simulator, not the real thing 😉 )
I agree about the DressKX! I regret selling this one too. After this guy, I got an SKX, an SSK003 (the GMT in Blue) and an SPB143, and I sold them all. I can't seem to find a Seiko that speaks to me in the long run 😕

Had the SPB143… twice haha. I see a world wear I buy it a third time. It feels very luxe for what it is. Buuut, other watches win out whenever I bring out the chopping block.

I was in the Caribbean's recently and I saw one from the first year of production, without the lume pip at the 3 o'clock. I was somewhat tempted but... I don't want to become a flipper

you got to admit it's quite a stunner, in all circumstances...
Umm, whoa? Lol. The pictures are great, for sure, but I can't stop drooling over the watch collection!
You and me both! I am equal parts proud and humble that I am able to have this collection. Amazing watches!

Perfect response! Pure class! Cheers.

I'm no flipper for sure, but I do enjoy the fact that I can experience so many watches and take relatively small hits on the ones I sell. The selling process is so cumbersome though - it has made me really consider what I want in my collection so that I don't have to sell things.

Every time I come across photos of mine, I start looking them up again lol. It's incredibly sexy - in all circumstances.
Awesome collection 😍and some really excellent photos showcasing the collection. Thanks for sharing!
