I owned 2 versions of the Apple Watch over the years prior to getting into watches just last year. I certainly got utility from the devices but a persistent pain point for me was the daily attention required to charge the battery. The Apple Watch became "just another battery to charge" rather than a convenient tool before long.
I probably wouldn't have discovered my fascination for wristwatches if it weren't for my hunt for a smartwatch replacement!
As others have said, gotta try it on your wrist to know for sure. Everyone has different wrist shapes, close-up photos on a wide angle lens phone camera cause distortions that mislead the eye and promotional photography will always present the product in the best light on the best wrist for the watch.
Good luck!
Good question. This is my first NATO strap so all I have experience with is trying to improve the fit and comfort of this one. I would have to experiment with the other options to know for sure.
What’s nice about this method is I have more ways to wear my NATO, since a single pass or converted double pass have fewer options by default.
