What's your ridiculous side hustle to support compulsive buying habits?

I mean to support "the hobby," of course.

I've been taking home truck loads of bottles and cans from work lately and eyeing some bespoke watch straps from Veblenist. Lol

Their waxed canvas line looks pretty unique. Here's a photo from their website:

Hows that going for you ?

This is awesome!

Well, it pays the bills. Getting tired of the constant orgasms though.

·

If I recycle enough cans to buy a Submariner, do you think the AD will let me get one as a first purchase? That seems fair. Lol

With a tattered hoody and 12k on the bottle drop app, am I not the most dedicated customer?

Does this not prove my loyalty, or could I be approaching the AD incorrectly?

·

Good for you. Here I thought petty crime was my only option.

One of the wealthiest guys I know picks up a couple bottles and cans on his daily walk - ($0.05) and help the environment.

That’s not exactly how he made his money lol. But it’s a nice sentiment

Btw firefighter? We sure do go through that stuff

Right on! We get 10 cents in Oregon, so its a little more worth the time. There's a bottle drop facility close by where we can drop off bag fulls of cans and they count them for us. I was a firefighter for 4 years.

No side hustle. I just starve myself. Who needs to eat…

I can't discuss my misdeeds. All I can say is I'm from Detroit. You get it😉.

Surprisingly enough, not many ppl even attempt to clean up at the range....

Even if I don't sell the reloads to others, it's worth something to scrappers.

I've got 2 5 gallon buckets of 556 brass from a class I attended a while back. Lol I really should see what the local scrap yard pays for brass.

It's not gonna be crazy, in fact you might get a better deal selling on Etsy or to local reloaders, but it's still something.

Also worth saving them all, cleaning them (if you have the ability to), and then goin to your closest gun show, and then selling them.

For sure. I do reload, but not 556. Mostly just the more expensive oddball stuff.

·

Doesn't really count but The one time I bought $5 lotto ticket, I won $100 which was very nice & immediately put aside for my Baltic.

Other than that, odd jobs for neighbours. Paint a shed? Sure. Make a garden bed? Why not.

I have a landscape photography business on the side that provides a bit of disposable income. Most of the business is in selling prints at shows and commissions for architectural work like for use in lobby installations, patient rooms etc. Soooo, if anyone wants to help fund a Nomos - www.washingtonstatephotography.com 😜

Only fans 🕺🏼

Isn’t that what SSA is for? 😁

Of course that only applies in the USA.

·

We grow our own food on occasion. In California it is more expensive but I hope we’ll be able to enjoy the watches longer as a result of better health so maybe that’s a trade off :)

In truth, if there were OnlyFans and all folks did were wrist shots…there’d be a market for us weirdos :)

Love the : Monkey Face | Smith Rock State Park

Thanks, that area is pretty wild. I was there for the eclipse in 2017 and there were a lot of people scaling monkey face that day
