I picked the SBGM221, but if I got to choose I would go for the SBGA211 Snowflake. It is too iconic to pass up. By the way is your profile picture of the canal in Otaru?

It is indeed.

I took that on a 🌨️ morning in February many years ago.

Beautiful picture!!!

Yes, I am very fond of Otaru.

It is exceptionally charming.

C or D are great. Can’t miss with either imo. The dial of the Birch is phenomenal though.

I know.

Hard choices because they are beautiful.

You got your work cut out for you. If you can try them on, maybe that’ll help.

Already did the SBGM221. . . .Afraid that the White Birch will be equally as seductive.

The Sakura 😍 silver in most scenarios but slightly pink when the light is right

White Birch or Snowflake for me. Really iconic watches.

Something clean, date only or even dateless

Definitely go to dealer and try them on. Your wrist size is pretty large so you might be okay but some of these may feel a bit unbalanced - heavy in the watch head, light in the bracelet. Not a big issue if you wear them tight. I wear them a little loose.

I am actually off to the GS boutique on Thursday (for the first time ever) for this very reason.

Bought the one below unseen but it wasn’t a big gamble as it’s v thin and I love it. I am curious to know what else in their range would or would not suit. No budget left for now but that feels like a safe time to visit!

Much appreciated.

Thanks.

I would go with the white birch. The SBGM is a good choice as well. If you want to get a chronograph I would get a tentagraph instead of those twos.

I picked the white birch because I think it compliments what you already have the best 👌 plus it's absolutely beautiful ❤️as are all the others.

The day I went to purchase my SBGA221 Snowflake I saw the SBGM221 in the display case before I saw the Snowflake. Asked to see it...and came very close to leaving with it instead of the Snowflake.

Just picked up the SBGW231 last week...and came very close to leaving with the SBGA221 instead.

So, while it's always a bridesmaid, never the bride for me, it is a stunningly beautiful watch.
