Has anyone experienced some difficulty in winding the Pitzmann 3?

The position of the ceramic bezel makes winding a chore. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am not suggesting that this is a deal breaker, but it is annoying.

Plus, unless I have never fully wound this ⌚, there is no resistance I felt when nearly fully wound.

Please feel free to note if anyone has experienced this or other issues.

It is powered by an automatic movement. It would be best if you winded it enough to get it running and then let gravity take over.... at least that's what I do with mine.
