For me it gets worse every year, as an adult I buy what I want. So when family give me gifts, if they aren't gift cards, they are usually:
Straps
Knives
Watches
In that order 😂.
Not too mention those I buy myself, etc.

This is what I’m carrying today. I inadvertently left my Spyderco at home! No problem, I have my Opinel No. 6 and ubiquitous Victorinox!

I'm with you there. I have recently paired down the knife collection to around 60 folders.🤣 I'm trying to turn the knives into watches.

Definitely! Snagged both on eBay, managers handy for little things and the watch helps with time and date ofc! (Im a student so I don’t need a regular Swiss Army Knife tho I have one)
They get the job done and that's all that matters. Excellent!

Today’s carry for a long woods hike….got this cheap Casio years ago….solar…keeps time just fine….Walmart special! Paired with my Spyderco Persistence. All-in $70. One of these days I’ll get a nice (for me) automatic.
