Advice on Henry Archer

I have been debating pulling the trigger on this one for a few months. It seems to be a fantastic value for the money, and every review of the other models (Nordso, Akva) seem to have been very favorable.

I like the purple. They seem suspect to me somehow though.

It's really a very beautiful watch! Ony the 40 mm and 47 lug to lug , are a bit on the large side for me.

The newer mark 2 Nordso has a bigger crown that I prefer. Mark 1 crown was too small for my fingers

I beleive the newer Nordso bracelet may have an adjustible clasp. Possibly the Akva.

I've been obsessing over the white-dial version of this for two days now, and just came across your post. Of COURSE my online watch buddy Ryan got bitten by the same bug. I'm worried this might be enabling or something.

Haha. I was just about to buy it then my house decided it wanted the money. I found a big hole in my siding and a bunch of water damage. No watch for Ryan 😢

We rent the house we're in, and I'm never happy about that EXCEPT for when the expensive stuff happens! Massive exterior painting and some repair carpentry are in progress right now, and I'm SO glad to not be stuck with that bill!

Owning a home can be rough. Luckily I'm pretty handy and I am not afraid to give the repairs a shot. But I think a Henry Archer would look on your wrist buddy!!!!

I may pull the trigger soon on this also.

Owner is really nice and receptive.

For me personally, I was nuts to receive my Akva in pale blue. Upon arrival, overall I was disappointed.

Found the bracelet and case finishing a bit rough. The friction pins in the bracelet were ridiculously tight. Absolutely inexcusable at the price. Lume was just ok.

The dial color and texture were great. Overall watch design was refreshing but was not implemented well. Colors were nice. Dial finishing was disappointing.

Great movement and kept time well.

Wore mine once and flipped it.

Maybe I expected too much for the price but I don't think so. Felt like a $300 watch, maybe $350, but definitely not a $500 watch package.

Nodus and Second Hour offer far more in the way of dial, bracelet and case quality for similar money. MUCH more.

For $200 more, Traska knocks it out of the park.

I came across #henryarcher today, and was wondering how good they were. They look amazing. I love the purple face one I saw.

Most seem to have glowing reviews on them. I hope to get one at some point this year.
