Hi, I am Rajat. I am from India and have recently started diving into the world of watches. I can't say I am a collector because of monetary restrictions but I do love to read about watches and the stories behind them. Everything from minor design upgrades to movement complications, there is so much to unpack in any great watch. I currently own a Tissot Chrono XL and used to own a Fossil and a Casio before that. Looking forward to knowing some of you and having a great time!

Welcome. Here you will find a lot of people less concerned about price and more with the significance of important horological pieces no matter the amount of money you need to get or even enjoy them even without having them. I started with Casio too and have a few of them in my collection. Great and important watches, and the Tissot is very nice too. Enjoy this community!

Most importantly you must like the watch and it has to speak to you on a personal level. I have a bunch of G-Shocks and Casios, Seikos too. I enjoy them a lot. Looking into other brands as well. A lot to learn over here. Enjoy the community and discussions here. WatchCrunch is a place for everyone!

Nothing wrong with building a virtual collection,treat it like a fantasy football team ,trade watches instead of players ,lot cheaper than the real thing

I am not a collector myself. I like the watches, but I own only about 4 watches (one is under construction😉). My watches are not expensive, but for me very valuable vintage watches. I am not planning to buy more watches for myself yet.
