Reddit refugee here! I’ve been collecting for quite some time now and I’m at a point where I’m looking at downsizing if that’s even possible. Here’s a lazy sample of the collection so far…

@heizenberg as far as I know there has been some controversy with the Reddit CEO, prompting moderators to flood most Reddit pages with pictures of John Oliver? I am not a Reddit user so I do not know all the ins and outs, but that’s what I have heard. Also don’t know if it’s related to the recent influx of Reddit refugees, but I’m guessing it is

It's a long story, but the TLDR is several popular third party apps on iOS and Android shut down this Friday.
Some people switched to the mobile site or the official app. Others dislike those options or perhaps the way Reddit behaved so much they quit.
Google "Reddit API change" if you've got half an hour to catch up with the drama.
Edit: I almost forgot! Welcome pyxvalade, WatchCrunch isn't a complete Reddit replacement but /r/watches is covered :D
