You are so right, marketing these days is more and more shifting towards something more human, connection is super impactful now in the consumer decision and, while Rolex has the recognition on his side, I hope that the new generations of watch lovers will stop to take their bullshit.
Maybe it was COVID, but me and a lot of people prefer a seller and a company that communicates with their cosutmers that LISTENS to their costumers.
I will always prefer creativity over heritage, new over old, exiting over boring.
And that is exactly what a lot of microbrands are offering right now.
Brew, Underdog, Anordain, Nomos(dunno if it is considered a microbrand anymore aahah), etc. are amazing and I love giving them support anytime because they keep things fresh!
I am baffled when people go crazy over THE NEW AMAZING DAYTONA WITH A SLIGHTER BROWNISH DIAL THEN BEFORE stuff ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Of course, you do you, but sometimes it is healthy to think outside the Rolex, omega, Patek, Audemars box IMHO
How the hell would you seriously say that Rolex needs your money ๐
They have like 6 designs and every new watch is just a colour variation or a sticker attached to the dial of a oyster.
Please.
