Please help me decide.

What would you choose? I have €2,000 set aside and I wanted to ask you if you could recommend any particular/uncommon watch on a budget of €2,000. I don't like dress watches. I would like to buy a particular watch, an uncommon one, for example as it is the Hamilton Ventura or in the luxury industrie, the MB&F watches or the Urwerk ones... I would be very grateful if you could give me some advice.

P.S. I have an 7 inches (18cm) wrist, so no watches beyond 42mm if possible.

The best advice I could offer is that you buy a watch that fits your lifestyle first and foremost. There is zero point in purchasing something that you are not going to frequently wear. As an example, don't buy a dress watch if you don't attend those sorts of events, even if you find it aesthetically pleasing.

I shop at the lower end of that range but even the 500-1000 has quite a few options. For a watch that looks a little different (although not by as much as that Hammy) in the lower price point is Malm. I’ve got their Air Wolf Viggen which is a great watch their current one looks like this:

You can get it with the MKJP G100 movement

The standard Sellita

Or the gold pvd coated Sellita

Otherwise there’s Farer and all of them look interesting.

If I may ask, why have you set a lower price requirement? If you find a watch that's a cracker but it's €350, would you not buy it?

Yes I would, I dont know whi I wrote it that way 😅

A Farer Watch would stand out in a crowd because of their color scheme. They are well finished and you would likely find a type of Watch that fits your lifestyle.

Oris and Ball are two other brands to consider with some unique offerings in your price range.

Fair dos. I was just curious as I have seen several other posts with lower price requirements and it got me wondering.

First of all: Congratulations to your 18cm wrist. I hope you measured it right, because actually with an 18cm wrist you can wear actually a lot of different watches. On a diver you might go even up to 44mm as long the lug to lug dimensiom os not to wide.

I do really like that you don't want to go the conventional (boring) everybodies darling way. The takes some courage with ball of steal....or let's better say ceramic!

Here is my Suggestion:

Rado has some great unique designs and materials.

For example:

True Square Plasma High Tech Ceramic

It's difficult to describe by words without seeing ut live or wearing it.

The ceramic feels very comfortable to your skin and adapts your body temperature. So it's still comfortable even in cold winter time.

The Plasma Ceramic has a special production process by very high temperatures and has the look like very high polished gun metal.

The ceramic doesn't scratch. So it will look like on the first day even after twenty years.

The movement is based on the Powermatic 80, so it has 80 hrs power reserve. It's reliable, accurate and affordable in service.

They have also "normal" ceramic models.

You can get in different dial colors or as an "open heart" whicv is actually sceleton.

These are pictures of my 16cm wrist. But the True Square are "usual" ceramic. To get an Idea of the plasma ceramic here is another model.

The price is around at 2K.

You csn find both types cheaper than retail price at chronext or other places.

Also check the Captain Cook line.

I would highly recommend the High Tech Ceramic as well, because the design is also different and offers applied indizes and a slightly see through dial. Unfortunately it's is over 3.5K. But the usual Cook is also great and easy to find under 2 K.

Buy a guitar instead. Watches don’t turn you into a chick magnate. A guitar will. Don’t even buy a guitar. Become a singer. Write poetry. Be difficult. Marry for money, THEN start a watch collection.

No, just an uncommon watch under 2000$. I like many uncommon watches like the M.A.D. 01 from MB&F or the Luis Erard watches, the H. Moser e Cie. watches or the Urwerk watches... but they cost a lot... so that's why I am searching for an uncommon strange looking watch under 2000$.

·

check out xeric or Gaga watches. They are both unique looking watches and both are within your budget.
