Throughout the history of civilizations, yellow gold has been humans' metal of choice for jewelry. It is timeless.
In contemporary society, acceptable men's attire is either conservative and plain or casual. A gold watch is one remaining opportunity for men to adorn themselves.
My wedding ring is yellow gold. A gold watch compliments it very nicely.
