Curious to see how many watches do you wear in a day?

On an average day I usually see myself wearing at least 4.

  1. Exercise watch, usually a g-shock, timex or my new endurance pro

  2. Beater watch, for house and yard work. Ex. Seikos

  3. Daily rotation watch for errands, going out to eat, etc. Ex. Pilot and divers

  4. Evening, something light to give my wrists a break ex. Titanium/carbon

Once in a great while I do an evening switch up, but not normally.

·

I wear one or two per day. Daytime and sometimes swap out for the evening.

·

I get bored around lunch time and swap at least once.

·

I wore the same watch for 42 days. And counting.

Its going to end soon. I’m buying a watch very soon.

·

Usually one a day but sometimes I swap if the occasion necessitates it.

·

Some days just the one, on others I can get through four. I work from home so there's nobody to see and nothing to dress up for, it's just how I feel through the day.

·

One per day unless I have an evening event or activity that calls for a different watch.

I try to enjoy fully whatever I choose each morning. Full focus and appreciation on one

So, I normally wear at least two watches a day, sometimes 3-4. (The only time I break that rule is when I am going through a honeymoon period with a new watch.) Since I’ve been in a honeymoon period for the last two weeks with my Daytona, and began another honeymoon period with my GO Senator Chronometer, I haven’t been rotating through watches as much as I had earlier in the year. When I exercise, I normally take my 116515 Daytona on Oysterflex or one of my Traskas with their hardened case and bracelet. The watch I choose depends on the exercises I’m doing that particular day. On a non-exercise day, I usually wear one watch in the morning, another in the afternoon, and then one more during the evening. The watch I wear at night must have lume. Sometimes, I even change my watch before bed if I’m not already wearing a ceramic, plastic, or hardened steel watch during the evening.

I use three a day: Daily, workout and the alarm clock.

2 to 3

·

I mean I voted one but the truth is I always double wrist with an Apple Watch

·

usually two - watch of the day & garmin for working out

·

I have an office job. Unless there’s a reason for me to change for a specific activity, I wear one all day.

·

Usually switch to gshock square for sleeping, change into a mechanical piece for the day, and occasionally change back into one of the gshocks if I'm doing something that seems damaging or just dirty/harsh chemicals/sticky stuff.

·

For (technical) work: beaters, for the rest of the day: my precious ones

I love limiting myself to one a day, on most days. It feels nice to put on a watch in the morning and then take it off at night, having been with me through all the day’s activities. It helps me to appreciate my watches more individually rather than as a collection…. and occasionally, if I keep wanting to swap before a full day, helps me see when to let one go.

·

I actually might wear more on the weekend, we’re I’m at home to swap more 🤣

I'll give you the Air Force weapons school answer, it depends.

Normally one watch to work, another when I get home, maybe a third - with really great lume - to bed.

Weekends though, no telling how many I'll wear. Could be one all day, could be 4 or 5 before dinner!

On occasion I'll go on a "watch fast" and wear the same watch all day every day for a week or more. Especially if I'm in the honeymoon period with a new watch. Could go a month or more wearing just it.

·

I usually wear my dressy watches for work, my Casio F91W for the gym and then a tool watch for everyday life

Looks like we are on similar routines 🤣
