Watch hand

I have so far made polls about the technologies in watches in interest of what the community here thinks. It is now time to continue with another poll. This time the focus is not on the watch itself, but rather in how you like to wear it. Do you wear it on your non-dominant arm or dominant arm? Perhaps you dual wield? Maybe even more-than-dual wield if you are really daring? So, how do you wear your watches? I personally wear mine on my dominant (right) arm. It's what feels natural to me.

Usually non-dominant but at times will wear dominant. And rarely, both with two watches total.

Interesting. In what conditions do you wear one on the dominant arm and dual wield? Is it just arbitrary when you feel like it or is it for some use case?

I always wear mine on my left are. But in my case that's my dominant arm.

·

Technically dual wield because of fitbit.

Non-dominant hand, because I use my dominant hand to operate it. (How they are designed in other words)

·

I only wrist swap when I wrap tefillin.

·

I wear it on my left arm, just as I wear my wedding ring on my left ring finger. Everything has a place, everything in its place.

·

I wear mine on the right wrist. I’m pretty ambidextrous so it doesn’t bother me much. I just don’t like having ring and watch on one side and nothing on the other. @cornfedksboy probably gonna curse me haha

My thoughts were that blokes wear watches on their left hands but I might have just made that up! At the risk of offending (which I absolutely don’t want to do) I was told as a kid that females wear on their right wrist, I have never once questioned this until now!

·

Non dominant with an occasional double wristing action like priming a watch to go on rotation.

·

non dominant. You know, like normal people 😜

·

I wear it on my non dominant (left). Tried the dominant arm with a smart watch and felt really weird. Plus all interaction with the watch is with my dominant hand when worn on my left.

I talked about this in the past.

I had a friend ask me why I wear it o my right if I'm right handed. He said, "now you have to stop what you're doing to look at your watch." I told him you have to do it anyway. He pretended to write then realized he stop to look at his left hand. "See, and the crown doesn't dig into my hand."

It feels unnatural to wear it on my left. I wear it on my left, and next thing you know, dogs are sleeping with cat. The moon turns to blood. And I'm not about to bring the end of the world. The right it is.

·

I also wear it on my dominant arm (right) and people find it strange. I agree on the point that it is likely to get more scratch mark, but here my reason a bit..

I actually wear my watch on my dominant arm so that my watch would not be splash by anything, I mean anything 💦💩 while I was using a toilet 😆😆

·

I confess that I want to wear two watches. Not dominating the watch I like and on the other arm a smart watch, but I don't feel comfortable going out and meeting other people. So, usually I wear the smart watch for workout.

At times I do dual for fashion and/or convenience. If switch arms it is usually due to repetitive stress from typing.

I am correct handed the real right hand so i wear it on the wrist on the heart side not on the wrong hand lol
