More annoying?

What's more annoying, waiting for a company to ship a watch or waiting for the post office to deliver it?

I believe waiting for the delivery is worse. Been waiting on a watch delivery that has sat in the same place for nearly a week with no movement.

Post office. 1000%.

I'm that way right now waiting on a GShock combi bracelet. It was sent and shipped super quick, but has been at the post - in town, no less - now for well over a week... 🙄

·

Post Office for sure.

·

I'm not sure I'll be using the USPS for my business anymore. It took them nearly 4 weeks to deliver a prototype of one of my tools to my manufacture.

·

You get over the former when it comes to the latter.

I don't mind waiting as long as the communication is good... If the company and the delivery service are on the same page then all is good in my book.

Unfortunately that never seems to be the case when something is late 😑

I got a little to excited when an order from long island watch was sitting at the post office for a little longer than I liked. I emailed LIW and asked if there was anything they could do or if the package was lost. Marc came back and basically said " chill dude. It will be there soon" 🤣

Marc has great customer service. He will even play therapist and calm you down when the order hasn't shown up.

Post office 1 MILLION percent. It's traveled so far and technically you could drive & pick it up but it's just stuck in limbo.

It's like when you're a kid & if Christmas Eve was a week long.

The slow death of delivery...

DPD... Mrs caught a driver opening out packages! She took a pic and sent it to his HQ - lucky for him I wasn't there, he'd have got a hiding for sure. 🤬

Currently waiting for the brand to ship is more annoying, but once my watch actually ships then I'm sure the post will find a way to take their place!

DHL is THE WORST!!!!

·

Can't they all sell on Amazon so we can get 2-day shipping? 😉

We watched our DHL driver pull up to our gate and rather than using the intercom to get buzzed in to the community he just backed out of the driveway and left...two days in a row.

That's very frustrating 😞

The delivery, sometimes I pull my nails out with pliers as its less painful while waiting.

I finally had to drive downtown to pick it up at the regional hub because if I had risked a third delivery failure attempt the watch would've been sent back to Dubai.

The employee working the DHL hub counter encouraged me to file a complaint because "all the drivers" do this which increases the workload and anger towards the counter person.

I no longer make purchases from vendors that only have DHL as an option.

That's a poor service! At least we got a happy ending 😁👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

Yes, I'm in a similar boat. This was from an Aliexpress company and made it near me in a matter of days. Yet, it's been sitting under 100 miles near me for the longest bit.

Post Office for sure.

At times, I wish they gave an option on carriers.

That's crazy. Hopefully, you'll find a better carrier.

The company has been good about tracking and updating the info. This is purely the postal service just leaving packages sitting somewhere. My worry is that it's been left on a truck or fallen/left somewhere unnoticed, which wouldn't be the first time that has happened.

Some book orders I've gotten have been water logged and mud covered. Or my ordered had been left on a truck and never unloaded. They'd probably save millions of $ if they got their act together

The only shipper that I have has issues with is FedEx. Seems like there are always delays and they are the worst in my area handling packages. I always cringe a bit when I see that the shipper is FedEx. Never has any issues with USPS, UPS or DHL luckily.

It does baffle me how it can come from the other side of the world in a matter of a few days, but at least a week to travel under 100 miles.

Post Office is a killer 😂

Haha, I don't think I've gotten a package in 2 days or less with prime in years.

·

So far my only iffy experience was with my sugess, I ordered and didn't get any confirmation or update and started to panic, I sent an email which they quickly responded to and told me the watch I ordered was out of stock but had a new updated model in stock, I said sure I'll take it and it arrived in time but communication could've been better

The dreaded "last mile carrier" 😖

Post office takes longer especially in the uk. But so used to it I don’t mind any more!

·

As always it depends. Recently one company sent me a shipping notification. Over a week later, FedEx still hadn’t received it from them. When I queried this, it shipped the next day. Then while waiting for another package from the US, USPS advised it was in customs. I received no notification from customs and tried the site on the off chance and it was all there waiting to be cleared. Now cleared but never received notification from customs. I sometimes feel like it’s depressing to track parcels because often they stay in a facility for days without any particular reason.
