SOTC (full) Q1 2024

Hi Chrunchers,

It's time for another SOTC, this time the whole watch box. I have a load of wathes I wear on a daily basis, but also have some memory watches I don't wear often. Compared to my watchbox last year, one rule is still clearly visible: balance of light and dark dials. There are just so many great watches out there, I like to have that visual balance when looking at my box. Also, I really like light dials 😉. So here goes, from the top left to the bottom right:

Tudor Black Bay 36 blue

Grad Seiko SBGW303 green

Omega Aqua Terra 38mm blue

Seiko Alpinist SARB017 green

Tag Heuer Carrera 41mm black

Junghans Vintage Meister

Seiko SNXS73

Longines Spirit 37mm

Junkers 6060-5

Junkers "150 years Hugo Junkers" Chronograph

The Junghans, Tag Heuer and the two Junkers are my memory watches (Junkers 6060-5 was the first watch my wife bought me, the Chrono was my wedding watch, the Tag Heuer I wore when my daughter was born, and the Junghans was my first Father's day gift). So they're all staying in my box, because to me they are priceless.

The rest are all worn regularly. When I get up in the morning, I can basically chose any one of them to wear, since they're all GADA style watches. I like my daily wear watches slightly smaller, as I find that just way more comfortable.

I know some will get nervous not seeing a diver in the box 😬 just haven't found the right one for me yet. let's see what watches & wonders 2024 will bring. Also, they're all dressed in their fancy bracelets for the foto shooting, but some do usually wear a more casual strap.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

P.s. the watches aren't all blue, the photo was taken outside and the sky is reflected in some of the polished parts 😉

Looking good!

How often do you wear the Spirit 37? I’ve been considering getting one.

·

Sweet selection - I think my favourite is the GS and then the Longines, I have been dancing around that one for a while …

·

Do you like blue?

·

Excellent collection! Lots of brand diversity.

Man, the Spirit is one of my top 3! The dial has so much depth, it's just a joy to look at

Both awesome, full recommendation for them! Especially the GS size is great

Do you like blue?

Haha I do, but there's only two blue watches in there... Two green and a load of light dials

Haha, yeah, but there's only two blue watches on there 😉

I need to get a watch box bad, I've outgrown my old jewelry box and need one to store all my watches safely

·

Such a great collection! You should wear the Carrera more often, I never see it in your wrist shots! Or do you want to keep it pristine because of the sentimental attachment?

·

I honestly wasn’t nervous about the non appearance of divers! My first thought was “wow that’s an elegant collection” I love the diversity. That Junkers on the mesh is quite a cool piece 👊🏻👊🏻

Actually, I keep it on exactly 17:17 ononday the 13th, because that's my daughter's birth-moment 😉
