NWA Arrived Today!
I have recently cleared house and sold most my collection. This has given me the chance to rebuild the collection by trying new brands and watches. I have been keeping an eye on Lorier for a while but never committed. This will be my third Lorier now (first a Neptune III and then a Hydra II). I absolutely have fallen in love with this brand!

I really like how Lorier actual puts a whole section of their website page on this watch dedicated to the watches that inspired it and design aspects they liked about them. No hiding the inspiration, we liked these 3 or 4 watches and used aspects from them to design ours, then added out Lorier touch to give you the watch you have in front of you.
A very honest and refreshing way of doing it.

As an aside, how do they make these dials? The text, minute track, and hour markers aren’t just printed on. They actually three dimensionally sit on top of the honeycomb dial but they don’t look applied.

I don’t know if this is the answer, but 3D printed I guess? It looks awesome.

I do really like many of what they have to offer. Unfortunately they mostly don't check off the boxes I look for. I would like some larger case size options on many of there designs as well as sapphire. (I know the arguments.) They look good though, are priced reasonably, and designs have some originality. I hope they continue to thrive. Everyone has specific brands that speak to them and I think this is especially true with Lorier. Unfortunately it is a near miss still for me.

I really like all three that I have but this one is a very polish package. It's also tge newest version I have and you can see the small improvements on finishing they have been able to make as they grow!
