Forget emergency, the toothpick is my primary tool of choice for drilled lugs and clasps. Less likely to scratch anything.
HGP has a “mecaquartz”. I think the main disadvantage is the poor battery life. I’ve read some had to replace batteries after 18 months. Another complaint I’ve read is that minute hand is hard to set. Im not exactly sure how it’s hard to set. Maybe minute hand moves when pushing in the crown?
I prefer dive watches because I like timing things with the bezel. I wait a lot. I never really considered that some would specifically prefer dive watches over any other sport watch to appear more rugged and adventurous.
