Tudor Black Bay 58 ๐ŸŒน

Calendar day 22 of 24 ๐ŸŽ… A new design with lot of identity and a lot of heritage. Probably the most popular watch from one of the fastest growing brands. Taking a turn towards classic after a lot weirdness in the 90s. Just a certified homage brand? Or creation of a solid identity for this historic brand while stayingbtrue to the roots?

For me this is a tricky one. Your options are not fitted to the BB58. For sure itโ€™s design ques are classic but itโ€™s hard to define a watch from 2018 as Classic or to be a Legend. But I donโ€™t consider it Overrated and definetely not Irrelevant either. I have had mine since 2020 and I think it is a stunner. I vote Classic even itโ€™s not yet there IMO. But I think itโ€™s a future classic.

Is this the one that a hefty percentage of people trade in within a short time? It's not distinctive enough for me to remember if this is it or not.

I chose over rated. Itโ€™s a great watch, checks off all the boxes, and is available at a great price point.ย

People should own and love this watch, but there is nothing unique or distinctive about it. It is not old enough to be a watch โ€œevery collector should ownโ€.

Since I bought it in may I have to go with legend. Just to make myself feel better. ๐Ÿ˜„

Jk. Itโ€™s a great watch. Wear it multiple times a week.ย

As a current owner, I voted over rated. ย Itโ€™s a nice watch. ย Classic styling. ย Great size. ย So-so bracelet. Solid movement.

I donโ€™t think itโ€™s a great value for itโ€™s MSRP but there arenโ€™t too many competitors against it in the small luxury diver category. ย Maybe thatโ€™s why it gets such attention.

Itโ€™s found itโ€™s place in the market but itโ€™s really nothing more than a โ€œgoodโ€œ watch. ย Sometimes thatโ€™s enough, I guess.ย

It's a black dial diver and the only thing saving it from generic hell is a set of fugly hands.
