Hello!
I'm new to the watchcrunch fam! Born and raised among the villages and vineyards of the Rhine valley, but now firmly planted in the US. Over the years I've gravitated towards clean dials and German watches, and towards GMTs. One timezone for local time, and the second one set to the Old Country.

Welcome and great way to pay homage to your home country by setting your GMT to Germany time. I have mine always set to Hawaii time cause it reminds me of vacations in paradise and when to book my next trip back. I’m a new Nomos fan with a Tangente, Club Campus for my wife, and eagerly awaiting my Club.

Welcome. If you want to limit your expenditure for your first US watch, go for a digital Armitron. They are kind of like vintage Casios, but with steel cases.
