I Did a Thing

Fellow crunchers, I pulled the pin tonight and ordered the new Christopher Ward Trident Pro 300. I’m beyond excited to receive it and hope it lives up to the expectations. If not, the 60 day return policy gave me a warm feeling.

I’ve been weighing this against several other divers including the Longines Hydroconquest and the Omega Seamaster (which I love but it’s too big).

Your feedback on this watch would be much appreciated!

I have two Christopher Ward watches, both bought used and I really enjoy them, I will consider a new one at some point in the future.

Congratulations, BTW.

·

Thanks!

Christopher ward has a special spot for me as it was my gateway to watches. It is not perfect as least in my opinion, but I still love it.

Hope you will love your Trident as well, and if not like you said their return policy is good too!

Cheers bro

I own a 39mm Sealander, and absolutely love it. The 38mm Trident has been really tempting for me as well, but that'll have to wait until February if I go that route.

Great watch, and I think you'll love it!

·

I like it , it’s on my radar too :)

·

Aldough I appreciate the philosophy and build quality of CW I simply don't like the design, especially these triangle pointed hour hands and their logo. I own a Hydroconquest and compared to CW ( for me personally ) it looks much better, L888 movement is far more superior and overall build quality is definitely higher or at least same. Not to mention brand recognition and history behind if that is important to you. Happy for you and enjoy the new watch, may it serve you long and bring many happy memories despite my opposite oppinion.

·

Congrats , hope you enjoy it. 👍

·

Great looking watch the white dial is amazing, nice thin rotating bezel, enjoy your new watch

·

Congratulations. Stunning watch. It's an indication of how far CW has come that its watches are even being considered for purchase amongst such esteemed company as Longines and particularly Omega. The phrase strength to strength springs to mind.

·

It looks fantastic and features on my radar. I love CW don't own one yet but will. They keep on bringing out stunners like the new "Twelve"!

·

Congratulations! It's a great watch, I got the 38mm size, which one did you order?

Compared to my Omega AT 38.5mm, the dial width and thickness of the CW C60 TP300 wears much smaller.

With my wrist being approx 6.75" it could've gone either way for a 40mm or 38mm but I wanted a smaller diver.

I went with the 40mm, as I needed that “just right” size and was afraid the 38mm would be too small. Legibility also can be an issue for me as my vision isn’t that great.

I love it so much that I tried finding other rubber hybrid strap. And so far, Christopher ward one is still the best I had

·

Can anyone attest to their return policy? Do they deliver on that promise?

Thanks for the response! That’s what I’m hoping for.

You will not be disappointed, I have a 2014 trident pro on the CW blue/orange hybrid strap and I love it so neat, good looking and great to wear enjoy your new watch

Not into CW, but that’s a very, very nice watch. Enjoy it.

·

I am thinking on pulling the trigger on one as well and I will go with the 40 mm too. I have a 6.5 inches or 165 mm wrist, do you think the 40 mm would be a good choice for me? If you have any pictures of how it fits on your wrist it will be very helpful

·

Highly recommend! I have the same size wrist and wear the 40mm. Check my gallery, I wear it often (wearing it now). Enjoy it my friend, it’s an amazing watch!
