Show me some of your pocket dump guys. Knives are also a different rabbit hole and I previously thought it can be a get away from the watch hobby but I think it fuels more spark to get more pieces 😂

I had a similar but opposite thought of yours about getting away from one hobby by delving into another, thinking that watches would be better for me than knives…i don’t know what i was thinking, but clearly, i was not thinking.
Depends on where you live, Swiss army knives are pretty cool had one myself years ago. Only problem is in Europe especially in the UK (barely Europe anymore) if you carry one and the police stop you, you have to go to jail for 500 years.

I don't think that will fly in the UK, their police have no sense of humour you could bring London to it's knees with a butter knife. Even in continental Europe it would be risky which is a shame cause a Swiss Army Knife can actually be so helpful in so many different situations.
Not at all, that was a big culture shock for me going to the USA for the first time that you can just walk into a shop and buy a machete or a crossbow or a rifle off the shelf.
The US still shocks me 😊 Fire arm laws here in Canada is a bit strict. I’ll stick with watches 😂
Nothing special today. I had to rebuild the Boker knife, it constantly loosened up and then the screw heads stripped out so I re-tapped all the screw holes and used stainless aircraft hardware.

I got a nice knife but I don’t take it out of my house I use it for opening parcels carrying a knife in the uk can get you in a lot of trouble.

There is quite a variety of knife laws in the US. In my state the law is pretty vague, and it may not up to you to define whether a knife was carried as a weapon or not. This is in contrast to firearms laws that are very clearly laid out, and harmonized with other laws. Not that you can't get into trouble with a firearm, you certainly can, but in contrast to knifes the law is rather unambiguous.
What I'm trying to say is: It requires some study in the US to find out what knifes you may carry or not.
