I was thinking about this the other day and I think every brand has its merits but there’s something about Hamilton that sticks out to me. It’s such a...

I think this is a really cool piece of design, if maybe a bit of a cheat making it a Ventura which has nothing to do with Dune, but yeah you’re right the price is ridiculous

I’d buy a share in Omega and fire their Speedmaster and Seamaster marketing teams

I tell him to take me to the JLC boutique

commented on What was your worst boutique experience? ·

There’s been a few I shall recap:

  1. A worker in a boutique called my Hamilton Field “cheap”

  2. I asked an AD about Rolex and he obnoxiously and loudly laughed in my face

  3. I inquired about trading my Longines and they told me to get lost since there’s no market for used Longines

  4. One of my first ones though was when I was probably about 21 and I asked to try on a Tudor Pelagos and with a straight face they said no and after I asked why they asked me to leave the store

Yeah the retailer gave me a 2 year warranty for them so I should be fine, I’ve not had any issues for the last two years with my Khaki Field. PVD coating makes it look brand new as well.

It wears really well, 42,5mm but wears smaller than my 41mm Hydroconquest

Their next one should be for Landfill or Nuclear fallout
