Hey, all! Now that I have finished my collection (or so I hope), I want to introduce myself.
As a kid, I loved watches. I remember always having one growing up, but somewhere along the way I lost that passion and focused my attention on other interests, I think.
A bit more than a year, though, after COVID, a wedding season began and I figured it would be nice to get a watch to complement my suit. Started researching and, well, with the internet now, my old passion came back with full force.
Along with two Seikos, a few Casios and a Seagull 1963, I bought quite a few homages from AliExpress that were very useful in helping me figure out what I like and actually wear in my day to day.
Then I sold pretty much everything and assembled my current collection, which I hope you guys like!
As you can see, I’m much more into watches with a tool-like aesthetic. The 3861 Hesalite Speedy and IWC are the ones I usually wear when I go out, with the GS as a classier option. The Seagull with that tan leather strap works great as a dress watch and it’s what I normally wear with a suit. The Sinn just arrived to be my daily, along with the Royale (which was an amazing gift from my wife). The G-Shocks are just fun - love the DW-6900, which feels like having the 90’s strapped to my wrist - and the MWC was my old daily that now gets worn mostly on the beach or at the gym.
I know that there’s a spot left, but for now I don’t feel the need to add anything. I know that I don’t have a diver, but I think that on the occasions I’d wear one, some other watch I already own would work just as well. And the only replacement I seriously consider now is swapping the Seagull with that new (and gorgeous) Lorier Zephyr. But I feel like I’d spend significant money on something I’d only wear very rarely.
So there you have it! I’m happy to be part of this wonderful community!

Welcome and nice balanced collection. Love the bright Casio's, must work great in Rio on a summers day.
Hello and welcome, Leonardo!
That is one mighty collection right there!
That's my kind of collection right there! Kudos!
Welcome! Very nice collection!
Great collection Leonardo! Interesting to hear how would you compare GS SBGX261 to Sinn 556i?
Welcome! Unfortunately it looks like you’re not finished yet, since there’s still one open slot in your case!
There's no such thing as a complete collection 😂
there'll always be another watch you want/need 💸 nonetheless welcome!
Happy to see that your collection has a mix of affordable watches!! It just shows one don’t need spend big bucks to call it a collection that they love !

Great collection Leonardo! Interesting to hear how would you compare GS SBGX261 to Sinn 556i?
Thanks, Igor! They're more similar than different, but the 556 takes a much more "rugged" approach while the GS is a lot classier and more delicate. It's better finished, more detailed and, being a quartz watch, obviously more precise.
So, to me, even though there's an overlap, they work best on different ocasions.

Can't argue with that 😂
Welcome! Awesome collection!
Bem vindo Léo!
Legal sua coleção. Aquele G-Shock amarelo então... Mas aposto que sua coleção está só começando. 😉😀

Thanks! I know how that feels. Fortunately I got to a place where I’m perfectly happy with my collection, but that might change at any point!

I guess you (and other people who also commented) were right... I did have to fill the last spot! I felt like a diver as a daily to complement the Sinn 556i RS would be interested. Thought of an SKX first, but it's hard to find in Brazil for a reasonable price and then I found this NB6021 for sale. It's a watch I've always liked, so I pulled the trigger!
