How often do you swap watches?

Silly collector here, pregunta? How often do you typically change the watch on your wrist? For me it’s simply listening to which watch speaks to me. Who else talks to their watches like their Dog? Today it’s a Tudor BB 39mm. Watches love park walks too

Nice bunch!

Different watch just about every day.

If I ever start talking to my watches or if a watch speaks to me then I hope someone notices and gets me the help that I need.

·

I'm on watch number three for the day and it's not even 6PM. Which is the norm for my weekends. Weekdays it's usually just two - one to work and a change when I get home. Some weeks it's a different watch to work every day, although some months it's the same watch every day. I like to keep 'em guessing!

·

I’m on the One Watch Challenge, and I haven’t changed for 21 days.

·

2-3 watch changes a day. One to work, one when I get home. All bets are off in the weekend. Yesterday I wore 4!

·

Multiple times daily. Depends on a few factors: 1) Matching occasions & outfits; very fun! 2) Mood or personal expression. 3) Rotation; rotating often to preserve my watch collection. I'm able to keep my watches clean/free of scratches and dings and prevents mechanical issues that that can arise from prolonged periods of inactivity.

My personal quirk is making sure all of my watches are set to the correct time. I love seeing every hand in my watch boxes lined up like soldiers. I know...weird.

No rhyme or reason for me, sometimes it's one a day, and sometimes it's several.

A change of clothes is probably the most likely reason to change up.

·

Daily…like underwear

·

Usually just one. But sometimes two if I change midday (like wearing a suit in the morning and then coming home for the rest of the day).

·

I usually wear the same watch for about 1-2 weeks before switching (disregarding the times when I temporarily switch to my G-Shock GW5000u for 1-2 hours for working out). I personally find it hard to appreciate my watches if I wear them for a few hours or less than a day. Rotating every 1-2 weeks also helps reduce the urge to buy as much since there isn’t enough wrist time to have a bigger collection.

·

It depends. Usually a different one per day

·

Every day.

It's important to rotate the watches because you don't want to create favorites. Favoritism will lead to cliques and soon you'll discover that your Casio and Seiko are plotting together against you.

Daily…like underwear

I must admitt I change my watches 2-3 times wearing the same underwear.

Often this is all I wear. Underwear and a watch. When classing it up, also socks.

·

Change every day or every other day if it's a similar outfit 2 days in a row, if I need to wear 2 vastly different outfits in the same day is the only time I'll change mid-day, and even then I'd be more tempted to just wear a slightly more versatile watch.

·

I try and keep to changing weekly, with the occasional exception if the occasion/outfit dictates something different. It does put me off posting on WRUW though as it feels a bit boring. I only hope I don't get influenced to start changing it daily as a result😂

·

Typically everyday but since I got the Tudor gmt I haven’t taken it off for three weeks!!

·

Twice a day on weekdays

·

2 times a day lately

Nice collection

Recently, I've been doing a lot of work on our house, so I've been switching into a g-shock for sawing, painting, screwing and hammering. When the day is done, on goes the Pelagos for summer beer o'clock.

In times of less manual labour, I'll stick with one watch for a week or two.

We wouldn't want that, would we? 🤣

Tudor will do that to you😎

·

Daily. But mulling the idea of doing it weekly. Still undecided though coz it might get boring. Plus the wrist time for all the pieces will have a longer interval in between rotation.

·

Most Every Day. Some scream "Wear Me" louder than others but you must be fair!

·

I change my watch daily in the evening I pick the watch for the next day.

·

Currently, I own exactly ONE automatic watch: the Invicta Grand Diver 3044. I don't have an automatic watch winder for it. So if I don't wear it to work (or church) on a given day, I put it on at night, for a few hours before bed, so that I can keep the movement wound. I hate it when it stops. I am not sure why, LOL. 🤣 I guess it's because all of my other watches, all quartz, are always in perfect sync with each other, and always have the correct time when I pick them up. I want the automatic watch to be the same way. When I pick it up, I expect it to be ready to go, with the correct time.

So, typically I wear one watch during the day, and then the Grand Diver at night. If I wore the Grand Diver on that particular day, then at night, when I am in my home (in which 3 wall clocks, 1 oven clock, and 1 grandfather clock, not to mention my phone, are all within easy viewing distance) I take the watch off.

Not weird at all, at least in my opinion. 😎

Depends on what im doing or where im going, up tho 3-4 times a day.

·

i was changing out watches every day, but since my wife got me an early Father's day watch, well, it has spent the most time on my wrist since last Saturday. If i'm working on stuff (like i just got done doing some garden work), i'll swap out for my Fossil. But for the most part, one watch a day.

The Seiko she just got me.... man do I LOVE THAT WATCH!!!! I know it ain't near as expensive as a lot of you folks spend, but it makes me feel dang good!!
