If you insist on being ignorant that's your right... but otherwise, they're both mechanical - just different type of mechanical winding. It's like saying that CNG cars don't have ICE engines... It's also ICE, just with a different method of input of energy-generating substance...
What you meant to say is manual winding vs automatic. But again, they are both mechanical (as opposed to quartz, solar, or smart) watches.

First of all: We all know automatic watches are mechanical, but they’re still a different type of mechanical and everybody differentiates them like that.
