Best G-Shock display? And Why???

So that time has finally arrived. I’m starting to get into G-Shocks. And honestly it can be a little bit overwhelming; too many models to choose. I think I’m leaning into the old fashioned square and digital G-Shock but there are also some new and modern proposals that seem to be very cool. So for this first part of my research I wanted to ask the experts… which is your favorite G-Shock Display and why??

Why choose when you can have one of each though?😉

MIP / Memory In Pixels but I wish they would put it in a regular 5600/5610 square. I would buy that tomorrow.

My steel G has the negative display & it drives me nuts sometimes. I'm thinking about getting a positive version & swapping the internals.

MIP. Why? Well, just look how clear that display is!!

The GBD200 is awesome. Three soft strap is great.

The big benefit for me is that 1, I can always see the time even while using other modes. And 2, the time is never confused with the other timers because each mode looks so different.

This is a huge issue for me on most other digital watches with a simpler display.

Plus it's just nice to have the full text menu, steps tracking, etc.

I prefer the positive display. Easier for my old eyes to see, thought I do have a couple of negative versions. MIP display is definitely awesome. Much clearer and shaper

Just like Jason Sthatsn and Silvestre Stallone say in The Expandables…”You can’t beat a classic” 🤣
