I need your honest opinion

Hi Watchfam,

I just recently went down the rabbit hole of mechanical watches. My first purchase was online via chrono24. The Watch (a beautiful Christopher Ward C65 Dartmouth) came the long from the United Arab Emirates. Now it's just lying here in the cupboard, since I'm unsure if it is large enough for my 7 1/4inch wrist. What's your opinion?

It does not look out of place, it looks good.

·

so you all think it is not too small and fit’s just right?

·

It looks good. I have several Christopher Ward watches. With the thinner ones, I usually wear them on a strap. The bracelet can be too bulky for the head of the watch. My C65 Chronograph is great on the bracelet, but it’s bigger. You have a great looking watch there. Don’t overthink it!

·

Looks great to me. But if your uncertain, I would wear it for a while and see how you feel with it in the long run. You already have it. Might as well take it though it's pace.

There are all to many watches I would love to try out for only a while.

The watch looks good on you, it fits well on your wrist, lug to lug it is short

·

@genxwatchguy1969you're absolutely right. The micro adjustment wasn't in the right position and I was just putting it on for the photo.

·

It looks great. If you like it, f*ck what anyone else thinks, your watch, your arm, f*ck ‘em. Again, looks great.

·

final and corrected position. Thread can be closed. Good to be here!

It’s fine

·

haha, I just looked at some wrist shots I took and there are really some above the knuckle ones. Seems, that I still have to learn a lot 🙈

·

It’s spot on! Slap it on wear it with confidence, it looks great. 🍻

·

now, i‘m starting to love it again 💙

·

Looks perfect!

·

thank you. I think, in the long run, my wife will kill me sooner or later ;-)

·

Looks balanced to me.

·

Looks good to me.

·

It’s all about what you’re comfortable with, but I think it looks great on your wrist! Ward makes fantastic watches and really comfortable cases/bracelets. Wear it in good health and congrats on joining the sickness 😝🍻

·

Don’t torture yourself with wrist size. It’s all about the dial 😊😊. Looks good and CW is a good watch maker.

·

This watch is awesome! IMO wear it. A few people mentioned tossing it on a strap. I think this watch would look great on a strap. Bracelet or Strap it's a fit

·

Worry not my friend, it looks great. Let it grow on you.

·

This is soooo personal. It looks fine if you are worried about that, which you shouldn’t be. My first question: is it comfortable, if so, then decide how it looks to you. If you don’t like the look and are asking, it probably doesn’t look “right” to you and you’ll eventually end up moving on.

I have or have had 31mm to 44mm pieces, all depends on what I thought, I certainly had folks say 31mm is too small and others say 44mm is too large. Even had some say 36/38 were too small.

Wear it and see how it goes and if you are still asking in a month, try some other sizes and styles on straps and bracelets, then move this one along, you’ll never wear it.

·

Fits well ! You must typically wear larger? Keep it for a bit. I'm sure it could grow on you!😄

·

Looks very fitting to me.👍👍👍

My suggestion for you is go ahead and try some others, but don't sell this one yet. You can leave it in the same cupboard if it's not bothering you. After sometime if you still don't miss it, you can then let it go.

Don't fall into the victim of seller's remorse. It is so common when we all begin down this rabbit hole journey 🕳️

Enjoy your adventure my cruncherfam 💪

Yeah, I wouldn't go any bigger. Looks spot on

·

Looks good mate

·

Looks fine to me.

·

Dive watches are supposed to be big to begin with. Great watch. I wish my Oris was that thin.

·

Unless you're used to wearing something out of the invicta Shaq collection. I think it looks very well balanced.

·

That is one slim watch 👀

·

I have a 7.9 inch wrist and thought my Aquitaine looked weird at first. Like almost too thin. Keep wearing it, it grows on you. Now some of my old watches feel too thick. I've since bought a sealander and trident.
