How it went as of this afternoon. We have come to some agreement. He trusted me and put money on my PayPal. And after that I shipped the package back to him. I take a loss. I learned a lesson 60 euros worth. Catawiki’s buyer protection isn’t worth a damn thing. They took a share on both our behalf.
Buyer beware. After several hints from other watch enthusiasts. I came across a boatload of fakes on sites like Vinted. All looks original. Booklets. Casio paperbag. Warranty card. Boxes.
Watches are not an investment. Even the big brands. The rare one that is you can not afford. Buy what you like and would wear.
