SRPA83J Scallop Tuna. Verdict is in.
2 weeks ago i dropped off my Scallop Tuna at the local Seiko jeweler. I had some problems with the screwdown crown and there was a bit of play at the 12 o clock position with the bezel. Hoping it would be an easy fix. Verdict came in. It will be send to Seiko (Japan) Crown tube broken. And they quoted me on a fix. A complete new case. If I want to have it certified. The watch is only worth something if its fully serviced and functional. Around €360 euro repair. Had to think long and hard. Decided it is worth it.

The watch came back. Not fixed. The case 05V0 was not available. Came with apology letter from Seiko repair department. They didn't send it to Japan to get it fixed, but stayed at Seiko Netherlands. Not a happy camper. But such is life.
