SRPA83J keep it on rubber?

When it was on it’s way on my wrist I was looking for options to put it on a steel bracelet or just keep it on the blue original rubber.

Now it’s ON my wrist I like the blue soft rubber one.

But there is a Bead of Rice from Miltat on its way for my SRPA21J.

I have an AliX Engineers with straight end links in my watch repair kit. (Probably end up on my Casio Duro)

Anyone out there put a steel bracelet on theirs?

Can’t see how big your wrist is but when I got my Arnie I put it straight on an engineer bracelet. It looked really good but boy did it make it heavy.

So after a while I went back to rubber and actually got a rubber strap that was thinner and more comfortable than the original Seiko one.

Depending on your wrist size you may have a similar journey but if you have big wrists you might be comfortable keeping it on a bracelet.

My wrist is 21.5 cm’s. Was about to order an Olongapo bracelet last year in the Philippines.

I’m looking at the 25 or 27. Like the flat pips on top. Original Seiko rubber strap on my SRPA83 feels very nice.

Shame there are no end links available.

But that's all steel. When the BOR Miltat is coming Thursday I will look at this combination with the 83J.
