First Zelos do the collection, and a sweet experience buying from SeriousWatches!

And so March begins with a new watch added into the collection. After finding about Zelos from several WCrunchers, notably @jcwatch , went looking for my first of the brand - focusing on the Blacktip Titanium line as I was looking to add another light watchpiece to the collection.

Started with the official site, and low and behold, found this model available (one of 4 available from the 20+ references), but then started thinking about the EU tax man and the likely trip to the customs office with a hefty fee to pay from a Singapore seller.

After a recent "tax burn" from a Japanese imported watch, found out Zelos had ADs in Europe, including the NL based SeriousWatches.com . Price was right and this one was available, benefited from a nice 20eur discount and trigger pulled!

After a few days of travel, the watch was just delivered by UPS and kudos to both SeriousWatches and Zelos! To the Dutch, great packaging and lovely customer service details such as the handwritten card and a local stroopwaffle! On Zelos, for the amazing watch produced - great finish on the dial and case, hugely comfortable bracelet, amazing Titanium piece with an unbelievable metal finish (if it wasn't for the weight would've said this was stainless steel)! Oh and great move swapping the cabinet cluttering box for a classy and high quality 3 watch travel roll!

First microbrand, first Zelos and first buy from SeriousWatches - though surely not the last of either!

Looks really good, I am based in the UK so also know about the import duties from Singapore, I think I would still have to pay something if coming from NL.

You have become a Zelosian lol

They post prices without taxes, and then calculate based on delivery place. That being said, here at least you know the taxes in advance and for me it was much lower than a past case of a watch bought at an online auction shipped out of Japan. It will be a matter of seeing their site and they will give you the tax amounts.

Don't be surprised if I have haha. Still finding stuff to like on the watch - the most recent on the bracelet. Not only it has a great on the fly, but the shorter links allow me to finally be able to take out an even number of links when resizing! Normally always end up taking 5 links out on bracelets but here it was an even 6, and low and behold, a centered clasp!

Not many available now on serious watch all seem to be sold out

I love the bracelet. One of the best titanium bracelet on a Zelos.

Yes, was looking behind the case of this one and saw it's 100 of 200, so not a massive production amount. Zelos has another European AD, maybe check on their website...

Not sure if the sentence doesn't hold if removing the "on a Zelos" part

I have owned several Zelos watches in the past, and whilst I can't argue with the overall quality I have always struggled to bond with the design. I once owned the Blacktip with a forged carbon dial, and although the spec and build were great, it really needed a 22m lug width. The closest I got to keeping one long term was the 39mm Horizons, but hated the indices. I now own an Axios Flagship (Zelos sister brand) and that is absolutely spot on.

And a Stroopwafel! Those are delicious

I hear you and indeed sometimes no matter how good one doesn't vibe with the watch. Was there myself a couple of times, and of course can't say it won't happen again - but so far loving it. On the lug width, personal preference here, but 20mm lugs are my cup of tea every day!

Indeed they are! Truly sweetened the deal!

Indeed it is! Not that you buy the watch because of that but great add-on - and possibly a bit of free publicity from them even!

Congratulations Miguel! Stunning!

I would normally agree, and perhaps it is the shape of the lugs themselves, but the proportions on the Blacktip just look wrong

Not saying you are wrong, but need a bit more time with the watch. So far, feels and looks perfect for me, don't mind the 62mas like lugs and the slimmer 20mm bracelet. But one never knows, so will keep an eye out for when the NWA goggles fade
