FLASH News! These photos just came in a few minutes ago from my lady...
Proudly wearing her Timex Expedition Field Mini TW4B12000, she joined a group of mountain hikers and trekked up to the summit of Mt. Daraitan.
They began at 4am earlier. At 7:50am, they reached the summit.
This is her WRUW for today, Tuesday, March 12th, 2024.
Edit: Here's another photo she shared with me.
As you may have guessed, I'm extremely proud of my lady. :)

Gorgeous photos! You got yourself a mountain lady! 💪🏽
It is almost as if the watch willed her to the top of the mountain.

Will send her your compliments. She hiked it to prove to herself that she still can do it. She plans on another one come April or May hehehe...

You got that right, my friend! Hehehe...

It sounds like you two are due for a hiking date! 😁

Yup, I'm doing my own physical preps first before I join. 💪🏼
Very cool!!
That's awesome! Wifey wrist shot and mountain climbing are both epic fun.😃
Looks like an amazing view as well, I love a climb with a nice payoff like that at the top. Hard going then an amazing view as reward.🤩
Something I noticed in the pics ...your wife climbed a serious mountain in sandals!!!! 🤯
I can't believe it!!! Did she bring those to the top, then change?
Sandals would be lethal on any hikes I've done ( the Rockies). Proper hiking boots only, and gaiters are a good idea (sharp rocks always want to fly up and cut you!). The scree and sharp rock cuts normal shoes to ribbons. My wifey on some scree here:
Excellent. That was quite a trek. I got tired just thinking about it.
Beautiful views and pictures.👍And an awesome achievement. Well done of her!👏How high is the Mt. Daraitan?
Good on her. Looks like a beautiful view 👍
The closest I've come to mountain climbing is watching "Cliffhanger" and "Summit Fever" on DVD. Congratulations to anyone who can actually do it, although why you'd go to all that effort when there isn't even a convenience store selling Magnum ice creams at the top is beyond me.
Very cool!!
Totally agree.

Yeah, the view at the summit is worth it. Re. her sandals, I haven't asked her yet, but I believe climbing up this mountain passes mostly through forest. Part of their trek also involves going down to the river, so I guess she chose to wear sandals with good traction soles. She did mention there were lots of muddy patches on the trail, so she had a harder time going down, as it rained the previous night, and at certain times during their descent. She survived it all as of her last comms.
Excellent. That was quite a trek. I got tired just thinking about it.
It was a trek indeed, I could imagine.
Thanks to my lady for the great photos. Indeed an awesome achievement for her. 💪 Mt. Daraitan is 739 MASL (2,424 ft.)
Wow, that's quite the climb!💪👏👏
Superb pictures👏🏻👏🏻
What a great little story! Congratulations on the climb. Lovely little wrist companion too!!
Nothing says 'tough' like muddy knees and a pair of flip-flops.
Congrats to her - that's a spectacular view!
Wow, that's quite the climb!💪👏👏
Yeah, quite a feat. In mountaineering circles, this mountain is like a Level 1 challenge. An accomplishment nonetheless. 💪🏼👍🏼
Superb pictures👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks, mate. I totally agree. 🍻

Thanks, mate. Will send your compliments to her. The Timex Expedition Field Mini is a worthy companion indeed.
Seems like the photography skils runs in the family👌

Just wanna say again, bud, you guys are awesome and inspiring!
Congratulations and respect to your good lady. That looks like quite a hike. Many thanks to her for thinking about us couch potatoes on the Crunch, and sharing her wonderful pics. 💯
I'd be careful though, Hakki. She might want to start her own profile and collection soon 🤓

Thanks, mate. Respect is definitely in order. Will send her your congrats and thanks.
I did try to persuade her to join WC. But watch collecting is not her cup of coffee. ☕ I think she did it because she primarily wanted to show me that she fulfilled the purpose for which I gave her the Timex Expedition Field Mini-- for her spelunking and hiking activities. Doing a wrist shot was her way of thanking me for the watch. 🍻
