Enjoyed the last couple of days at the pool and the ocean with my SMP300 but the I asked myself the question: how many of us actually use the Dive watches for their intended use ? And how many just take them off before going into the water.
I fully understand not taking vintage watches into water but come on modern divers just sitting on the towel and waiting for the owner to come back out of the water😭😂
My Name is Haroun im a 20 year old watch collector based in Germany. Watches have become the second love of my life(right after my lovely Mrs.who I’m also starting to drag into the hobby )like a lot o...

I swim and snorkel with my dive watches. I would dive in them too, if I was qualified.
I do pretty much anything with one strapped to my wrist too (within reason) that’s why I love dive watches so much. The water rating isn’t so much a mark or how deep I’ll take it, but how tough it is.
I make sure that I’m taking the right watch for the right place. Pure common sense.
Dice watch 😂
I’m not one of them people 🤣
I swim, work out, do chores, work outside, etc in my divers, sport, or warches. Now I might vary which is used on the type of activity, probably not wearing my Omega SMP or Aqua Terra to work on a motor or do plumbing, but would definitely not have an issue doing those activities in my Seiko Captain Willard or Orient Kamasu. Dress watches though - they typically get reserved for business or formal functions.
Why on earth would I want to get wet and cold 🤣
Diving has less than zero interest to me, like to see fishes on TV only. 🤣
Love a dive watch tho, because they're ruggedly built & I like the style.
I have worn my Seamaster in the shower once or twice tho....🥴
I believe I am the only youtuber to film under water footage with their dive watch and capture sea turtles

I always swim with my dive watches it’s half the fun of owning them
I’ve dived with my SMP a few times but I like to use my other less expensive divers simply because I get a little paranoid about damage lol
I happily swim with my submariner however I do have a slight worry about failing spring bars when in the sea. Usually throw it on a nato for beach holidays, bit of extra security 👍🏼
What a beaut.
I've taken my definitely not a dive watch Longines Zulu Time snorkelling. I also took my definitely a dive watch Spinnaker Boettger diving. It was my first ever time diving, so I didn't get any pictures of it during the dive unfortunately.
Dice watch 😂
