D) Grand Seiko

The Evolution 9 Dress watch. From a purely optical point of view, it's just "more of the same". Unintrusive design, pretty to look at but nothing really new.

But the movement! Handwound High-Beat Caliber, 80h power reserve, and the Click is inspired by a local bird. And the sound

it makes when you wind is just so satisfying. (if it's really that nice as in the video)

here the video, check out 7m44s: https://youtu.be/Rat_Qiek2rU?si=5hrTrbqcbDK9ITWp&t=464

I’ll have a look. Thanks 👌🏻

·

The E9 Grand Seiko is top of the list along with Cartier and Nomos

·

D, for me it's the Bremont Terra Nova 38 field watch.

The unaffordable stuff is irrelevant for me.

·

Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic

·

Tudor BB58 GMT and Nomos colorways are the only new releases that interest me - the rest was "meh" at best (for me).

☝🏻 This

Still watching and wondering. Was hoping for an updated Omega Seamaster minus the helium escape valve or something like that, but they did not even attend so meh.

·

I think the defy extreme diver has my name on it. But I’ll probably wait until I can grab a used one 😆

Yeah for whatever reason they’ve broken away. I don’t think we will ever see that specific line without the He as it’s too much of its DNA, love or hate. I do hope they update the bracelet this year, slim it, taper it as it’s just too heavy.

I also think they may release a classic diver along the lines of some of the earlier 300M and minus the He

I was looking for this.

·

Nomos.

·

Grand Seiko and Cartier

·

D, piaget altiplano ultimate tourbillon, invention should be the game of any exhibition, not new colour scheme or material, unless the material is absent from periodic table. New shape or design line is ok too.

·

Cartier Santos dual time

·

Love each of the Tudor releases for various reasons, but for me it’s the Tag Heuer Carrera Glassbox panda dial on a bracelet.

100% agree. This watch really caught my eye. Just hits all the right notes.

·

For high horology i would say Jaeger-LeCoultre Duometre Chronograph Moon or IWC Portugieser Eternal Calendar. But for us folks that are not made of gold, i would say you are pretty spot on with your picture as i would say NOMOS would be my pick.

·

Probably Zenith but that GS Evolution 9 dress watch is awesome and the NOMOS colored dials are cool.
