Favourite Longines Heritage

I'm a massive fan of the Longines Heritage collection. What is your favourite piece or style from their Heritage range?

Difficult to choose. They are doing many things really well right now. Heritage has several great looking watches, Legends Diver of course, Chronos, GMTs. I don't own any but what's not to like?

💯 agree, well said!

There are so many Longines I want that I couldn’t possibly have them all. I have the Majetek and Ultra Chron in my crosshairs now.

I have a few and also have those in my own crosshairs 👍

Favorite I have: LLD

Favorite I want: Sector dial

·

The black sector dial is my favourite

E- their heritage collection as a whole I cannot in good faith take an ultra-chron over a bigeye over a Majetek or A-7, over my Silver Arrow.

·

I love my avigation- the titanium dial makes it such a pleasure to wear and that blue is so unique. Simply love it.

Holy shit that burgundy LLD is stunning!!!

I guess if I had to pick a favourite category, it'd be the Avigation. I've been hunting for a neo vintage from that category recently, and I have the Spirit Zulu Time. But I also love the dress category with the new power reserve, the anthracite dial master Collection chrono and I love my own master Collection Moonphase.

Lovely! 👌🏻

Tuxedo chrono, I think.

Ever since I stumbled across Longiness, the L4.815.4.72.2 speaks to me as a unique simple but elegant dress watch that can go with any style of dressier clothing! The moonphase may not be the most functional complication, but the execution together with the calender complication is just lovely.

Hoping that one day I can find the funds for this gorgeous Longiness. I think I will still like it, even after a couple of years.

That’s the one. I’m a sucker for heritage pieces and I love a small seconds done right, and this satisfies both.

·

E. All of the above

Longines hasn’t been able able to do much wrong, in my book. Seems like everything they’ve come out with recently has been killer. But… I tried on the legend diver recently, and boy was it hard to take off. So that would be my pick, also because it would suit my style more than the others. But just barely.

Great questions, but it’s making me wonder why I don’t already have one 😅

I'm an owner and huge fan of the Avigation Big-Eye, so I guess that says a lot.

The Heritage Sector is great too.

Technically not part of the Heritage range but it's a re-issue of sorts and one of the most under appreciated dive watches on the market imo:

I sort of thought it was a part, I guess it's an unofficial member 👍 I love it!

You're probably right you know - some of their re-issues seem to have Heritage in the name, some don't.

Either way, same watch.

Which is your favourite is not an easy question to answer, hey? Don't think there's many Longines re-issues I wouldn't mind owning!

That's a hard one. Probably the LD, but it is not as simple as that 😂 I have the LD date, Big Eye, Sector dial and I sold the bronze LD in December as I planned to get the new LD, but I was wearing the date version and thinking it actually looks nicer, at that moment I had some regret about selling the bronze, but I have managed to move on.😕 I am trying, but failing to do one in one out 🙄 I love the Ultrachron and a number of their dressier models....the moon phase and new power reserve...and of course chronos and military inspired pieces. I'd buy them all and have a Longines room, for some reason my wife is not keen on that 😜

I've not really answered as don't know, the LD holds a special place so probably that.

I've got soft spot for the Avi Big-Eye myself, but I think the Ultra Chron is my favourite. That might be 'cause I don't own it, maybe I'll let you know around the end of the year. Should've owned by 6 months by then, all going to plan!

I put the Big eye on a new strap last night. Wearing now. Looks great 😁

I like the Spirit and the GMT versions
