2 watches I'm really considering in the 5k range

I love the quirky Navi and Breitling have an argument for being above Panerai with finish and after the unfinished Panerai movement scandal, but in this case I would be more tempted by the more simple Panerai.

I agree that Panerai is Panerai🤣

But the technical toolishness of the Navitimer is just so beautiful to me

Based on what I know of you from our lengthy friendship, the Panerai suits you

Both are nice watches. I was going to say Panerai until I clicked to enlarge the photos. Now I feel the Navitimer is a much nicer watch. The are some cool details on the case and crown. The yellow on the strap is also a nice touch. It adds a little pizazz to the watch.

I don’t want to be snooty, but the pan right without the crown guard if you’re a scuba diver is not a good idea because those crowns when you’re if you buying it if you happen to bump against a piece of coral, you know it’s made for the Italian navy and you know the crown is something it’s very easy to hit a knock off. I’ve done it to one watching particular I would not get a pen ride that did not have that at first I thought it was an Affectation, and then I realized of course this is a thing so that you don’t knock the thing off just a suggestion

The panerai is fine. But the breitling is fantastic. That’s what I would go for myself.

Personally, I would go for the Panerai. Love them both, but for a Navitimer I would go for a chronograph

Go with panerai! Breitling navitimer should be a chronograph I do not see the point of this one. This is just my opinion, of course go with what you like most

You might get used to a Navitimer Chronograph which to me represents a better option than both of these models. However if it is between these 2 buy the Panerai.

Both watches have omitted something that is so specific to their archetype.... The Navi without the chrono and the panerai without the crown guard. The panerai comes out worse in that... Loses it's raison d'etre.

Personally I’d only go for a Pam with a sandwich dial. Love the Navi - it’s so clean without the chrono function

I just love the look of that Navi with that "B" logo. It is a LOT classier in my eyes!

I would get them second hand major discounts. Also look at the Breitling montbrilliant. It's lower price and prettier in my opinion.

For sure Panerai! Then the next one could be Navitimer! 😀

My vote is for the Panerai....the base logo white is on my short list right now, (my AD only had the black)

But I also tried a Radiomir that is not far behind it.

Gotta say I love my base logo luminor but it's lonely 🤣
