My favourite brands all occupy the lower end of the price spectrum, since I can own and enjoy watches from them. I appreciate other brands like JLC, Breguet, Lange, etc., but since I'll likely never own one, they aren't a favourite.

Great list! I’m noticing that Nomos has been gaining popularity. I haven’t had the chance of handling one in the metal but I’ve been hearing wonderful things about it.

I've been a fan since I got my first Citizen back in 2007. They make a lot of "mall watches", but those are what sells.

Solid list! Yeah, I excluded those brands right off the bat because they would seem to be the “cookie cutter” response for some.
