We all know it can’t be done, but for the sake of this imaginary game, what is your favourite watch duo that you currently own?
Mine would be:
Seiko SARB 035 - Casual everyday wear, work watch, dressy in a pinch
Omega PO 2201.50 - Casual sport watch, weekends
Realistically speaking, I don’t wear formal wear nearly often enough to have a dedicated dress watch. I currently wear a vintage Tudor Air Tiger a couple of times a year for weddings, funerals, etc.
Ideally, I would eventually like to upgrade the SARB to a GS SBGM221, but I would like to think that with the addition of a beater, I would be content unless my financial situation changed drastically.

What does your “Two Watch Collection” look like?

Well, THAT impossible task took an hour to figure out, lol.
I think I landed here: the Aqua Terra for just solid, day in day out, go-to use and the gold accents and bezel elevate it a bit, and (to your point) the SBGM221 for GMT functionality and just pure beauty and craftsmanship.
I was proud of myself for thinking through an 8 watch collection over the holidays...this was brutal.
My favorites duo 🤔
Or maybe
And
Yep I’m with @timeHoff0472 this was tough, and I almost gave up, but luckily my last 2 acquisitions fit the bill so for my sporty weekender I’m going with my Anonimo Nautilo Vintage
And my smarter smaller piece will be my Farer Pointing GMT with an L2L of 45mm and a thickness of 11mm it’s small enough and it looks great.
That's a tough one. But here we go...
1. Tudor BB GMT
34th anniversary gift
GMT
200m WR
Sport
70 Hour PR
2. Omega Speedmaster Professional
▪︎ Versatile - Sport & Dress
▪︎ 50m WS
▪︎ Chronograph
▪︎ Manual Wind
▪︎ 55 Hour PR
Those are both great watches and it would take a lot for another one to chip into wrist time rotation so I get why you might want to keep it at 2 (although for me I think at least like 7 ish watches is the minimum number for my rotation but I’m nuts)

I totally agree. Wanted to play the 2 watch collection for kicks. I wish I would have stopped around 10 ish...
Tissot Swissmatic, to wear with a suit or business casual attire, or even jeans & a t-shirt...
...and my Invicta Pro Diver, since it has proven to be tough and reliable.

I like the Breguet numerals on the Tissot. Classic.
Ball Outlier GMT & Rolex Sub 14060m
Lorier Neptune SIII.
Nodus x AWWC Sector Deep.
Shoot i had enough trouble picking 4! But if I had to pick 2 these would be it...

Excellent choices sir!
Ball Outlier GMT & Rolex Sub 14060m
What’s been your experience with that Outlier??
The ultimate for me would be an Explorer 36 and a Tank Louis...
But from what I own? Probably my GS and Sinn 556i RS
That tudor is beautiful, I also don't need a dedicated dress watch but I'm hoping to add a Nomos club sport to fill that gap at some point. This would be my 2

Ooh I love how the color schemes are different but also the same. They complement each other really well!
Tegamented sinn U50 for every day because there isn’t anything this can’t survive and speedmaster can do any occasion
Two from my collection would be these ones:
Hamilton “Cooper” from the movie Interstellar & Seiko green Willard reissue from the movie Apocalypse now. From the air to the sea, from flieger to diver. And both have relations to watches worn in movies.
Your right. I can't do it. If you've seen my collection, well...

I love how well thought out this is!
Submariner Christmas gift this year from family. Oyster Perpetual birth year watch given as an 18th birthday present.
This would be my perfect duo:
Unfortunately do not own the BB54 (yet), so picture is not mine.
For me the GS is not an upgrade over your Tudor. The Air Tiger has way more charm and personality.

That's a nice duo!
Also wow 34 year anniversary, that's pretty special 🙌
Currently my duo would be:
Oris Big Crown Pointer Date in bronze
Squale 1545
But it would be hard to stick to just 2!
Ball Engineer II
Kurono Tokyo annual calendar
Tag F1 as a sporty watch and Tissot Seastar as an everyday watch that looks surprisingly refined when dressed up.
With my ‘slim downed’ collection, easy for me 😊
Tudor Black Bay 58 - Smart casual everyday wear, work watch and for that slightly dressed up look. No formal wear for me even at work so this watch works great
Seiko SBDB009 - This is my casual weekend watch. And most of the time on Fridays at work too! Just can’t stop starring at it! Current favourite watch 😊
These are the two that get the most wrist time lately, might as well be my 2 watch collection!
Tudor Pelagos FXD MN & Longines Spirit 37mm
