Good Morning Crunchers! Showing some Detroit ❤️ today. Sporting another one of the Forgotten Bunch (2 months since ive worn this guy), my Shinola Runwell.
You will notice the only numeral on the dial is an 8. Shinola wanted the dial to be symmetrical with the 8 and date window.
What they didn't capitalize on was "8 Mile" (Detroit/Movie). Enthusiasts were the ones who gave this watch the moniker "8 Mile Edition". A miss on Shinola's part.

Hey Rafa, I like the brand. I have two Runwells (this 8-Mile edition) and the Runwell white dial 41mm. If I had to pick one more it would be the new Mechanic (their first mechanical watch).
The aesthetics and finishing are great in my opinion. They make their leather straps in house and both of mine have stood the test.
I would give them a try if you see something you like. I think the Monsters are a but on the larger side though.

So I was creepin on your WRUW, checking out the Hamy Sub Zero (46mm) and this Runwell (47mm). I really like them both but honestly don't know how you pull the size off. They look great on you, and I only had to micro adjust the Baltic, so my wrist is only a hair smaller. But 47mm is intimidating!

I do take my WRUW shots close up. I'll take some from a normal vantage point and share with you tomorrow. They are indeed large as you've noted. My wrist size is about 7.65" and I'm 6'3 so that helps some.

Oh damn... Your wrist (and height) is bigger than I thought 😂.
My wrist size is almost exactly 7". Maybe a hair over. And I'm 5'9" so your a good half foot taller as well 😂. Not an enormous difference in wrist size, but it would help explain why a 47mm watch on you looks about the same as a 43mm watch on me.
