Warning to "Wrist Perverts", or just making small talk. :-D
After going through the experience of wearing the same watch for several days during #1wc and then switching watches almost every day for the post in #wruw (I'm getting closer to the "Wristy 120"), I've been thinking about my watch choices.
You see, wearing the same watch for several days is a very interesting experience to reinforce our bond with our favorite watches, but just one and for so long, I'll leave it for the next #1wc. 😉
However, changing my watch to the #wruw every day, although fun, has left me feeling disconnected from some of my watches and that I am not enjoying all the satisfaction that, especially mechanical watches, can give me.
Therefore, I decided to adopt a compromise between the two experiences and use the same watch for a few days until, for some personal reason, I wanted to change my watch and try another one.
So "Wrist Perverts" don't be surprised to see that I'm repeating myself some days. It's going to be like that from now on, and I think it's going to make my path to "Wristy 180" and beyond a lot more satisfying. 😊

Go for it. With my old lot I would discover that the minute a day that I can tolerate becomes more and then ....argh....
I very between switching daily and the same watch for a few days. Still posy in #WRUW regardless.
I swap watches like a 3 year old changes their mind.
There's nearly 500 watches a day on WRUW. I think we get our fix of variety from that. Post the same freaking shot every day if you want. We aren't wristy police, demanding you post a different watch every day.
I know I get bored with the same watch on my wrist every day, but only because shooting different interesting pics of the same subject is hard day after day.
I find the WRUW fun for now has somewhat reconnected me to some watches that I have taken for granted. During the coronavirus, I started gifting quite a few of my ignored pieces to family members but now realized that I was not exactly finished with some of them, feeling regrets! A few were choices made by my wife who does not love my timepieces enough. She has graciously suggested that I check out a few new watches to replace the ones that we gave away. I would prefer to renovate our 3rd floor living space with the spare dollars. The Mrs is not interested in chaos so soon after the last renos.
