Wont ever happen - I wear my watch 24/7 365 . Only time I'm not wearing one is to either change straps or change watch..... been that way since mid 1980's.
Gotta say this has NEVER happened to me in pretty much five decades of wristwatch ownership. True! I have always slept with a watch on my wrist, so I've never forgotten to wear one the following day 😀 👍
What, you don't keep an "emergency" watch in your desk drawer? I thought that was standard practice.

I usually don't forget my watch. The one time I did, I was still in the driveway, and I called my son on the phone, and he brought it out to me. 😎

I always have a watch on my wrist since I'm 14years old. I feel naked when I leave without one.
When/if I forget a watch (probably only happened once, if ever) I know for a fact I will suddenly be a lot shorter, a lot fatter, a lot less muscular, my friends will leave me and I will not be approached by any woman sans pepper spray until I die. I need these little things!
This had only happened twice in all my years of wearing a watch. Both times I've turned back, 1 time a simple 3 minute drive back, the other .. I'm ashamed to say, but... yeah, a 30 minute delayed immediate U-turn!

This happened to me earlier in the week. I left my place, heading to the subway to go to work. A couple blocks in, I looked down at my wrist to check the time and realized my watch wasn’t there. My first thought was, “did the spring bar break?”
I went home and found my watch sitting on the coffee table. I don’t remember what I was doing that I took it off.
I always keep an extra in the car in case I sell the one I'm wearing. I always have a watch.
