You receive the gift of 5 watches of any value in its place. Great, eh? A couple of rules.. 1. The 5 watches have to be from the same manufacturer, 2. The watches cannot be sold or gifted, even after the event of your passing. Which do you choose?
This is a great question because you need to pick an appealing brand but also a brand that you can build a five watch collection from. If you take a brand like Cartier I think your collection will not look diverse. I would possibly go with Zenith if you allow inclusion of Zenith Academy and I would select:
Sent back to the manufacturer. Point is, people shouldn’t just choose the most expensive so that they can accumulate wealth for their family. It’s all about the love of the watches
I couldn't pick more than 2 Rolex from their entire line up so they're out. I don't know enough about RM, what I've seen doesn't do anything for me. Seiko I could easily find 5 but... any make? Really? And these are the first brands that spring to mind? For me it's VC, and narrowing it down to 5 would be incredibly difficult.

Omega. Of my nine piece collection, I chose 4 of them to be Omega. If I open my collection for increased size, I’d buy at least one more.
So they get buried/cremated with me?
Lange & Sohne
Corum
Easy choice for the brands listed.
Tissot, because I prefer great looking quarts chronographs and I don't have these...
Omega!
It’s early, not surprised that it’s the least picked but surprised no one picked a RM at all. Still early.
Since we’re dreaming, my Rolex picks
1. 1908
2. Platinum fluted bezel President
3. Vader Daytona
4. Pepsi GMT (5 number reference, 16710 or 16760)
That’s all I’d want but I guess I’d have to pick one more.
5. Red Submariner.

CHRONOMASTER ORIGINAL
ELITE Moonphase Dress watch
DEFY Skyline sports watch
PILOT Big Date Flyback
In place of what?
