Best Space Watch (Not Omega)

Look, I think we all know the Moonwatch would win this fight, so, other than the Omega Speedmaster, what is the best space watch?

The pushers on the Bulova are such a favorite of mine. I can’t understand why it’s not more commonly used.

Shouldn't there be one more, the Fortis Cosmonautis?

·

My first would be the Bulova Accutron as Roberto pointed out, followed by the GMT Master II.

This is what tips the scale in the Lunar Pilot's favor for me.

In space i would want the accuracy of a G-Shock digital over any of those. Remember that old tech was all they had back then and they would not reuse anything from that era today. Function over form for that stuff.

Seiko Rotocall!

Vostok Amphibia?  Sturmanskie?

Why not wear a DW-5600E? It's qualified for use by NASA, it's not going to crap all over and it's cheap enough that you can stuff your space suit pockets with enough replacements to last a lifetime.

Biased because I own a Bulova Lunar Pilot.  Possibly a second one, now that they are releasing a smaller size haha.

·

Why no Glycine Airman? It’s been to space a few times…

the bulova is a definite buy at the current price and they still are available new. crazy to think that the prototype they made actually made it to the moon surface and used on the mission.

only 1 was ever made from my knowledge and the original one worn on the moon was recently sold at auction for roughly 1.6million? all other space worn omegas are property of NASA and that bulova was the first privately owned watch that got sold publicly.under rated watch at the moment.

Bulova is FINALLY coming out with a smaller sized lunar pilot. The current one is 46mm. Also, the Moonswatch uses a resin crystal that is easily scratched. It is a cheap marketing ploy. The Pagani Design PD1701 V3 is a great homage and is better than the Swatch version for much less money.
