Been looking at a couple of these wrist clock thingies and figured I’d pull some feedback from the community. You can only have one! I will pick the one I like most regardless… after more sleepless nights 😂
The Grand Seiko.. because I feel like the seamaster is, yes, a great watch but nothing spectacular to me and I never liked the chronomat’s castle-style bezel.
The Onega SMP is the best watch in my opinion. It has the a solid movement, a beautiful dial and a great history. How can you go wrong. I’m also bias because I have one.
GS is more versatile and exotic imo. SMP is great too but that I hate white dial watches in general, also it's a sporty model so you cannot have just that as the only watch imo.
I own a white dial SMP, that GS is one that I have targeted but it is smaller than the watches I spend my budget on. I have a 4 decades love affair with the Breitling Chronomat, not certain if it is a true GMT watch, another Chronomat would be my easy 1st choice 42 mm Chronomat with blue dial black zones, re issue bullet bracelet. The Omega has a very respected movement but might be one of my mistake buys, I hate the look of the bracelet, have considered the steel mesh OEM bracelet but it is 1k cad plus 13% HST money better saved for a new PO or the Chronomat that I described.

I am really not a fan of the tank track bracelet on the SMP either, but figured I’d put it on one of those curved-end rubber straps. It’s funny how many folks hate the chronomat here, makes me think I must be missing something. I really love the look of the bullet bracelet - what originally drew me to the watch. Oh well, haha! 🤙
While the dial looks great on the Omega, the helium value puts me off. The GS looks lovely but I think they do some better dials and I kind of associate GS with that now so would want one of the many landscape inspired ones. I like the look of the bracelet and dial on the Breitling so that's my choice of those 3.

I wonder how many folks have experience with the Chronomat? My first Breitling was fitted with a rose gold bezel and a 1980s bullet bracelet which was a monster to size and it was brush satin in finish, really attractive. It made my Datejust look so boring, I think most Breitling detractors recall the macho marketing of the brand during recent memory which I never bought into since my wife is my MBL and I would do anything for my two daughters.
Tough choice here cause they’re excellent pieces all around… the SMP wins for me due to the white and black contrast I love so much! Only SMP I like more is the seaweed lol
also really love the Chronomat gmt. Just tried one on not long ago and LOVED it!! Can’t go wrong with any of these!!

I chose the Seamaster because I've been on a white dial kick as of late and it's a great watch

The white dial really pops for sure. Feels very summer appropriate too.👌
Omega hands down. IMO the Chronomat is ugly and chunky and the GS isn’t exactly their best-looking offering either. But that Seamaster is 👌
Seamaster all day everyday

Seamaster with white dial is solid 💯
The omega by a loooooooooooooong shot

I choose the Omega even if I prefer Breitling in general but here this white dial and black bezel is so perfect.
Omega is milestone icon ....it is a precious gem that every watchseeker must add to collection.

The white and black Seamaster 300M is kind of iconic in its own right now
