Seems crazy for sure to discontinue with such a long waiting list of folks ready to set fire to their wallets. Sadly, I suspect with the news it means any current owner will be locking these away, never to be seen outside of rare watch meet-up occasions.

That's a good point - and undoubtedly accurate. Unfortunately for us all it's probably not unwise either. Can't say I like it - can't honestly say I'd behave differently either, as much as that shames me.

My AD never got one. Very rare, but it was only meant to mark an anniversary, so it was never going to stick around. Just means I can stop worrying about what I’d have to trade to get one.
