Another WatchCrunch X Jack Mason
Prompted by @Mr.Santana and in celebration of #ChronographWeek I violently photoshopped an affordable WC chronograph concept. Considering the only real LE release came from Jack Mason, I decided to pluck a watch from their catalog and selected the Moto Racing Chronograph as my next victim… errr…I mean as my muse. I’ve always liked this model (especially the gold variant) with its quirky squar-cle seconds register.
Nothing outrageous with the reverse-panda scheme. Tried to inject some of that green we’re familiar with, and then used some pops of orange to balance it out. Add a couple other WC details and voila… the Crunchy Moto Racing is born. Limited to 199 because I can make up whatever number I want. 😂
What do you think? Did I use the right watch? Did I miss the mark? Are your eyes bleeding? Is this a crime against humanity?

Oh yeah - can definitely see similarities! I guess the similar squar-cle case shape doesn’t help much either 😂 You should absolutely never time your coffee with this watch though, unless you want a cup that tastes like hot asphalt. 🏍

Keeping the movement a Simple NH35. Because there are so many mod options.

The style of case…and the automotive theme…I think a rally strap is spot on

Very nice. Sounds like it ties in with the comments @Max and I had back and forth when the first watch was unveiled. In a nutshell, I promoted the idea of affordability, given that many people would like to rep their 'clubhouse' but aren't interested in/have no need for the watch being super expensive or full of features, either because they already have watches in that tier, or because they simply don't buy watches like that. In turn that first release basically ruled out a whole cross section of the community. And as I said at the time, respect to Max for following his convictions and doing what he felt was right the first time around. But that doesn't mean all releases have to be in the same vein. So happy to hear 'something else' might be up.
@bevelwerks I must say "wow!", excellent work on the render! Especially the green "O" on the back. Haha! This community never ceases to amaze me. I love it. Based on the success on the first go, I wouldn't rule out future opportunities! There are so many great brands to collaborate with, I'm glad I'm not @Max at choosing which ones!

I think the first collab Strat-O-Timer was fantastic - makes me hopeful to see more in the future! Agreed that Max will have a tough job narrowing down his option, but I am sure he is up to the task. Thanks again! 🍻
