The Mido Ocean Star, Decompressor, GMT , Worldtimer was the first watch on my retirement watch shortlist.

I was going to get one, but this particular model fits too big on my wrist. The watch dealer said "it certainly makes a statement" on my wrist. I still do have a fascination with the Mido brand and may get Mido watch in the future.

I'm of the opinion that you might not get the certificate of authenticity as I highly doubt Costco is an AD of these brands. They might have struck a deal with Hodinkee or something. Bic is a pretty big chain of high end camera stores with a good reputation. I doubt they would blatantly sell fakes. Good luck finding the watch and congratulations on your marriage.

2 places come to mind in my recent visit to Japan. I'm still here, but going home tomorrow. Bic Camera Shibuta East, on the 5th floor has about 1/8th of the floor Ruth rows of watches. I follow that up with a visit to a Costco. It's not on the Costco website, but the store I went to had Breitling, Ulysse Nardin, Alpine, Baume & Mercier, Ball, Zenith amongst others. Have fun!

They have lots of more exotic brands here

I really like the Tutor line up. I was saving up to get a Black bay Pro. But every time I just got there and was ready to get one, the price went up. Until I decided I could a different watch for that kind of money. I still like Tutor watches, but there are other brands that fit my wallet better.
