Longines Admiral 5 Star

I have been wanting one of these for awhile! I just had to wait until I found the right one.

35.5 mm diameter on my 7.5” wrist.

This one dates approximately late 1960’s to early 70’s.

It runs + 15 secs on my timegrapher. Not bad for a piece of this vintage!

I have really developed an appreciation for the classic styles from the past.

Any other Admirals out there?

That's an admirable Admiral from a country without a navy and from a time when 5 stars had other connotations than Amazon reviews.

This one shows that good examples are out there!

Look up the sellers “Closer” on eBay. This is a Japanese company I have bought from twice now. Many vintage watches. They have been better than advertised in both instances. In fact, almost every watch I have bought from Japan has been so.

First time I see the 5 stars on a vintage piece. I guess these watches were what they were referencing!

I think you might be right!

I love it! It looks sort of see through, the dial blends in with your wrist

Yes, I agree. It’s that deeply brushed texture that sets it off.

I’ve seen them on multiple watches I wanted. Good to know that they are trustworthy.

It's gorgeous, but way too small for my 8.3 inch wrist.

That’s class bud! Enjoy it in good health.

I see that vintage Longines arsenal is getting larger too :)
