Met a very engaging, generous guy at the SF Windup Watch Fair — he recommended I join here. So, I thought I’d post a watch I bought from the Fair. My first vintage watch, first good case watch in my small collection. That’s a lot of firsts. Happy to be here. Cheers😎😃

Thank you. I am so happy to acquire it. Been a desire to own a vintage Omega for about a year now. Cheers😎😃

Greetings from the frozen tundra to the home of the rock, eight woofers in the trunk, beatin' down the block.
Welcome to WC. Gorgeous watch.
Beautiful piece, they don't make them like they used to. I'm glad to see vintage styling coming back in style as of late though
Welcome. That is one good looking watch. I've been wanting a vintage gold Omega these days. I'm supposed to be done with buying watches this year, but I think vintages don't count, right?

Heh. You got my vote: vintage don’t count. Thanks for the welcome. I was on a pause with buying since September last year. It would have lasted longer—felt very confident after Watches and Wonders did not have a watch for me to obsess about (BB54 came close). But saw this one in person. Been on a hunt for one, so I was a goner.

Thank you😎😃I know, I wonder if a true resurgence of classic styled watches is upon us. The Rolex 1908 release and the Omega Seamaster 1948 limited edition seems to point that way.

Thank you. Glad to be here among you all. Cheers😎😃

That’s quite the greeting—happy to be welcomed and great to be here. Thank you and cheers😎😃
Such an elegant piece and the strap matches it perfectly. I think Omega should bring such watches back 🔥

Thank you much. It fulfills the questing for vintage, quite satisfying. Love wearing it.

Just got to this—checked my movement vs yours. They are the same. Seamaster vintage bumper movement cal 342. Check for yourself and Google “Omega caliber 342 movement” and you’ll see open caseback shots. They seem identical to yours.
